The Society of Sin Burlesque & Variety, New Orleans' premiere nerdlesque troupe is back on stage at The Allways Lounge for "Roll for Seduction: The Burlesque Adventure Where You Decide What Happens". Join us for an evening of interactive RPG-inspired magic as Xena Zeit-Geist crafts an enchanting adventure story which your decisions will decide the outcome of featuring original fantasy characters and burlesque performanced created by some of New Orleans' most talented burlesque stars, including Lola van Ella, Laveau Contraire, Ooops the Clown, Dawn DrapeHer & more to be announced soon!

This time, there's been a murder at a faerie dinner party, and you'll be playing detective with the help of your magical patron & host (played by Xena Zeit-Geist) to figure out whodunnit!

There’s been a murder! Esteemed ruby tycoon, unicorn racing aficionado, and Faerie Nobleman, Eustace Sparklebush was strangled in his home at Sparklebush Manor during an intimate gathering hosting several notable members of the Seemly Court. A note was left at the scene of the crime that reads: “Chaos reigns supreme.” Suspects being held for questioning include: Eustace’s former wife, Lady Nightshade Frostbottom-Smythe (of the Newport Frostbottom-Smythes); his fiance and former feature tavern dancer, Evie Lemontail; Lord Oberon Thornheart III, topaz tycoon and Eustace’s fiercest competitor; unicorn breeder, eccentric recluse, and the victim’s old business partner, the Viscount/ess of Houndstooth; Brella Morielli, a student from the local wizard college specializing in Unicorn Magic whose tuition was covered when they were awarded a generous grant from The Sparklebush Family; and a maid that the victim was yelling at moments before his untimely demise. Warlock-Detective Lon Webson, assisted by his magical patron Sherlene, has arrived at the crime scene to solve the case before the killer strikes again.

FAQs

Are there COVID safety restrictions? All guests will be required to show proof of vaccination or recent negative PCR test to be admitted entry. We appreciate when audience members wear masks but do not require it.

Is there an age restriction? Patrons must be 21+ to attend.

How does pre-purchasing a ticket work? Simply buy a ticket through Eventbrite or The Society of Sin's website and show us the tickets on your phone when you arrive at the show.

What is the policy on tipping? If you enjoy our performance, you may throw money into our tip bucket or on stage before, during or after the show. We work really hard and love when people show their appreciation with tips! You can also throw money in our digital tip jar by tipping our Producer (Venmo: @xenazeitgeist or CashApp:$xenazeitgeist  or Paypal.me/xenaz) and putting the name of the show in the memo so they know what it's for.

What is the dress code? Typically on the nicer end of casual, but we always appreciate it when people come dressed to fit the theme in costumes related to the show. Feel free to dress as your favorite fantasy character or an original RPG character of your own design!

I'm bringing a friend who is celebrating a birthday, getting married, etc., is there anything special that I can do for them?  For our safety and yours, we are currently planning on limiting physical contact with the crowd, but there are still plenty of things we can do to make your night special!
