The troupe that brought you "Talk Nerdy To Me: A Weekly Nerdlesque Revue" is putting on our Sunday best for this new over-the-top burlesque and variety show that promises looks to kill and acts to die for. Catch The Society of Sin Burlesque & Variety every Sunday at The Maison on Frenchman at 8p. Every week there is a different show filled with decadent costumes, extravagant aesthetics, and big moods from our rotating cast of professional entertainers. End your weekend with a glass of champagne and an eyeful of something exquisite every Sunday at "The Opulence Hour!"

FAQs 

How do I buy tickets? The venue does not allow us (the Society of Sin) to pre-sell tickets but may have tickets available through their website or through Eventbrite. Tickets will always be on sale starting at 7:30p at the door on the day of the show. Often people begin lining up downstairs at 7:15p. Cash is preferred but we can accept Venmo or Cashapp in a pinch.

Is photography allowed? Flash photography is not allowed during the show, but there is often time after to get pictures with performers. If you do take photos, please let the performers know and tag The Society of Sin if you post the photos: @thesocietyofsin on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 

What is the policy on tipping? If you enjoy our performance, you may throw money into our tip bucket or on stage. We ask that you do not touch the performers.

How much of the proceeds go to performers? Performers and the crew (sound person, stage kitten, etc.) receive 100% of ticket sales, tips, raffle tickets and merchandise sold. What is the dress code? Typically on the nicer end of casual, but we always appreciate it when people come dressed to fit the theme in costumes related to the show.

How long does the show last? The show lasts roughly one hour. On an average night, doors open at 7p, the show starts at 7:30p, and we wrap up before 9p.

Do you sell merchandise and other items at the show? Yes, we regularly have merchandise from stickers to jewelry to panties for sale at the show. I'm bringing a friend who is celebrating a birthday, getting married, etc., is there anything special that I can do for them? We sell raffle tickets every night for a chance to be pulled on stage with the cast at the end of the show. Friends are encouraged to take photos/video. Is there an age restriction? Patrons must be 21+ to attend shows at Maison.

I love burlesque! How do I get involved? Go to shows. Go to a million shows. Introduce yourself to the performers and crew people and state your interest in a way that is not entitled or abrasive!
